Minsk Cycling Club’s cyclist Yauheni Karaliok won the first stage of this year’s Tour of Estonia, Tallinn-Tartu GP (200 km).

On Friday morning the UCI 2.1 category race Tour of Estonia 2018 gets underway with the Tallinn-Tartu GP. Looking at the start lists it seems that the Estonian National Team is the strongest one out of 15 teams and over 100 cyclists.

Tour of Estonia to be more competitive than last year

Tour of Estonia 2018 will be held from 25th to 26th of May. UCI 2.1 category road race will bring over 100 cyclists from at least 16 teams to the start line.

Tour of Estonia 2018 (UCI 2.1 category road race) takes place from 25.05 to 26.05. ToE has two stages – Tallinn-Tartu GP (194 km) and Tartu GP (173 km). Approximately 100 cyclists from 15 teams are coming to this year's Tour of Estonia.

Estonians dominated the Tour of Estonia 2017

This year’s Tour of Estonia finished with the Tartu GP (172,8 km), won by Gert Jõeäär from National Team Estonia. Yesterday’s Tallinn-Tartu GP’s (211,2 km) winner Karl Patrick Lauk triumphed in the general classification.
